Meet Your Bookkeeper!
California native returning home after many years away. I was born in Orange County, growing up in Laguna Beach and finishing school in the Clear lake area. Started college at UC Davis, but wanted to get out into the "real world" for awhile, finally returning to put myself through a more affordable Chico State, graduating in 1994 with a BA in Geography. I lived in Roseville, Folsom, and Fort Bragg, then moved to Portland, Oregon where I met my Nebraskan husband and consequently moved to his home state for 14 years.
During all of this time, I was in retail and retail management for over 30 years- pet, motorcycle, local boutique, clothing, warehouse, home improvement, tattoo shop, Farmers Market, and more. I always loved the people-oriented business with all of the merchandising, inventory and bookkeeping involved, often on a very tight budget! I was also self-employed as a bookkeeper in Oregon, and then for myself as a baker/owner(&bookkeeper) in Nebraska. This is why I choose to work with small business owners with my specialty in retail.
Two years ago, my husband and I finally made the move to California and have settled in Rocklin, where he works as an electrician. We love it here, and truly enjoy this region of the foothills and the community.
